NIST's latest blog post reminds me of my first deep foray into integrated Cybersecurity. Up until that period in my career, I was only working with point solutions. Those were mostly DLP-related, with a smattering of Endpoint and SIEM. Aligning with NIST really helps provide a more strategic perspective on Cyber.   I cannot thank the folks at NIST (and by extension, MITRE) enough for the inspiration.

Folks such as: Ron Ross, Bob Bohn, John Messina, Michaela Iorga, and Mari Spina.

A hearty THANK YOU for the inspiration as well as the service to the entire Cybersecurity Community.  #fromInfoSectoCyberSec

Celebrating 50 Years of Cybersecurity at NIST!
With each day bringing new cybersecurity challenges and advances, it is easy to understand why people feel like it's hard to keep up. It is important to be agile and move quickly to avoid the consequences of cybersecurity attacks-and that need extends to government agencies, like NIST, as we work collaboratively with industry, academia, and government to help meet these challenges.
